"Why do I love Natural History? Because it contains strains of mystery and hope, despair, insight and darkest joy. That's what I hear, anyhow. And it makes me think of Paula, her shimmering voice and masterful ear for sonic texture. Like her waterfall laugh that always caught me by surprise amidst a stream of bleak and witty social commentary. Paula, a brave artist in a (largely) fucked up world. It might be uncool to say it, to put in such un-ironic terms, but it's just...well...inspiring. And heart-breaking at the same time."
