vampire boy

he always looks like he's thinking of sinking his teeth into something
i used to want it to be me
that kind can find the young and the dumb for victims
and i was prone to fancy

one day i look over a boy in a corner
with canines longer than a summer day
but i just saw lonely, just saw lonely
in the caverns in his face

oh, the eyes of a vampire
are the eyes of a child
but i won't look your way no more
vampire boy, vampire boy
vampire boy, not what i'm lookin' for

i guess i've always been a sucker
for a pretty face
i guess i'll always be a seeker for
that final state of saving grace

but i won't place the blame
for this demise on me
it's in your teeth, it's on your shoulders
and i'm finally, finally free

from the eyes of a vampire
crying, feed me or i die
well, i won't give it up no more for
vampire boy
vampire boy
not what i'm lookin' for
